Jon began work in devised theatre after training at Manchester University and Ecole Jacques Lecoq, then co-founding Talking Pictures Theatre Company in 1988. In 1996 he founded Company Paradiso and over the last 20 years has lead the charity into the field of social inclusion, live performance and radio broadcast. He is proud that the charity is valued locally, and has also at times achieved national recognition for its work.

Jon has trained in the last couple of years in safeTALK suicide alertness, Managing Challenging Behaviour, Mental Health First Aid, Workplace First Aid and Food Hygiene. He is an Arts Award Supervisor, and a Panel Member of Time Out Fostering, a local OFSTED ‘outstanding’ Fostering Agency, and is up to date with all recent legislation and protocols on keeping young people safe.
